RAPID South West Inner City Dublin
RAPID (Revitalizing Areas by Planning, Investment and Development) is a Government initiative which targets the 46 most disadvantaged urban areas and provincial towns in the country. The implementation of the RAPID programme is led by the Department Of Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs. Community and voluntary participation is at the heart of the RAPID programme. RAPID is organized to ensure that local communities have a strong input into the plan for their own area.

Rialto Development Association
St. Andrews Community Centre has been serving the needs of the community of Rialto for over twenty five years. The centre provides accommodation for a range of projects addressing social inclusion and cultural development including the Rialto Day Care Centre for the elderly, the Rialto Youth Project and the Rialto Community Drug Team.

The Rialto Youth Project works with young people who are most marginalized in the community. They operate a number of groups including young women’s groups, young men’s groups and work with young drug users.

Rialto Active Retirement Association

The Active Retirement Association (RARA) was established in 2005 and aims to encourage people of 55 and over to maintain their independence through social contact and sporting activities. The group wants to promote a more positive attitude to ageing and retirement.
Activities include: Computers, Bridge, Line Dancing, Bowling, Day Trips and more!
Membership is open to active over-55s in Rialto and neighbouring areas.

Dolphin House Homework Club
The homework club was set up in 1998 in response to the high levels of early school leaving. Other activities include art, literacy, games, computer work, and educational trips.

Dolphin Crèche
Dolphin Crèche caters for children between the ages of 2.5 years and school-going age or 5 years. Dolphin Crèche is registered with the local Health Board’s Pre-School Services.
The staff in the crèche work as a team. ‘We encourage close co-operation between parent and staff in the crèche’. The aim of the project is to provide a safe, creative and loving environment for your child.

Dolphin Health Initiative
The Dolphin Health Initiative was set up in September 2006. It was funded by the HSE for 2 years. The initiative provides a space for local people to deal with their own well being through programmes such as the Women's Groups, Older People's Groups, Breakfast mornings, Yoga, Outreach, and a Drop In, where advice and information on subjects such as Social Welfare and Rights & Entitlements is available.

Fatima Health Initiative
Fatima Health Initiative is a community development health project which aims to tackle the high rate of ill-health within Fatima and improve the holistic and spirit of the Community. Through a range of programmes the Fatima Health Initiative provides a space which allows local people an opportunity to put their own wellbeing at the top of the agenda and deal with the stresses of day to day living.

Rainbow Intercultural Project
Rainbow Neighbourhood Project is an intercultural group working in Rialto to bring new communities together with Irish people in a supportive, social environment. The group aims to ‘bring the new communities into the wider community’ and to help immigrants feel at home in Ireland.

Local Drugs Task Force
The Canals Communities Local Drugs Task Force was established in 1997 as one of fourteen Local Drugs Task Forces. The Task Force provides a continuum of care in the Canal’s area for drug users and their families and supports local groups and communities in their growth and development. It works to facilitate an effective response to drug issues in areas experiencing the highest level of drugs use. The Task Force supports and funds a number of projects and initiatives in the Canal Communities area (Bluebell, Inchicore, Rialto).
